Update: The bodies of three of the missing flood victims have been found, Moroccan authorities said on Thursday 13 August 2015
The victims – a woman and two girls – were found dead after they went missing in a flash flood caused by torrential rain in central. The bodies were found on Tuesday and Wednesday several kilometres from the course of the flood in a valley known as Wadi Alfet, near Azilal.
Authorities and residents are still looking for the two other missing victims, according to official press agency MAP.

Torrential rain in Morocco’s central region of Azilal over the last few days have resulted in flash floods that have left several people missing.
Morocco’s official news agency MAP, quoting local authorities, reported that 3 women and 2 children are missing after flash floods in Alfet Valley. It is thought that the victims were in a house that was swept away by the flood water.
The search is still underway by local authorities and rescue teams. Local media also report that flash floods have destroyed a bridge in Ahansal valley.
Morocco suffered major flooding during November and December 2014.
