How do I List a Business / Service on the FloodList Directory?

1. First you will need to visit the Add Listing page. Here you will see the various types of listing packages available, what each package offers and how much it will cost. Choose the most suitable listing package for your business and click on”Subscribe“.

2. Next you will see a form for your to complete. The form is in 2 sections: Account Creation and Listing Details.

What Images Should I Add?

You can add up to 4 different images to your listing. These can be anything related to your business, such as a company logo, or photos of your work or products. Only include images where you own the copyright. It is your responsibility to ensure that all images conform to copyright law.

As a general rule, try to use images with a miminum of 600 x 400 pixels (600 pixels wide by 400 pixels high).

Logo

Your company logo is probably the most importan image to include in your business listing. Try to find a version of your logo that is 600 x 400 pixels where possible.  This offers the best chance for your logo to look good in search results, category lists and within the business listing itself.

Choosing a Category

You can also choose a category for your listing. Please make sure you find the most relevant category.

What if I can’t Find A Relevant Category?

We want you to be satisfied with your listing. If you can’t find a relevant category, in some cases we may be able to add one for you. Please contact us using the contact form here to let us know your requirements.

When Will My Listing be Approved?

Once you have completed the above information, we will receive your application and review your site. If it meets our guidelines we will approve the site and add it to our listings. You will then receive an e-mail letting you know that you have been approved.

How Will I know My Listing Has Been Approved?

You will receive notification by email. You can also log in to the directory to check on your listing there.

How do I Make a Change or Update my Listing?

Login here using the login details (username and password) sent to you by email when you first registered. Once logged in, you will see your listing and be able to edit it as you wish. Once completed, click on “Update” and all the changes will be saved ready for approval by the FloodList team.

Why Was My Listing Not Approved

We reserve the right to remove or refuse (with full refund) listings at our discretion. There could be a number of reasons why we didn’t include your listing in our directory. Please ensure, for example, that the listing, description, images and website included in the listing:

  • Contains no adult-themed or sexually explicit text, images, or photographs
  • Does not accept advertising for alcohol, tobacco, gambling, or pornography
  • Does not promote hate, violence or discrimination in any way
  • Does not promote any illegal substances or activities
  • Does not include affiliate links or adverts

Importantly, all listings should be:

  • Relevant to flooding to flood related issues
  • For a genuine flood related business, product or company

I Can’t Find My Listing

Your listing must first be approved by us. We will then send out a confirmation email to let you know whether your listing has been approved or not. If you have received a confirmation email but still can’t see your listing, please contact us using the contact form here.

I Recently Edited my Listing and Can No Longer See It

We re-review all edited listings before putting them back online. This should only take a few days at most. If your listing doesn’t show after 48 hours of making changes, please contact us using the contact form here.
