As many as 14 people died in flash flooding in Nangarhar province, Afghanistan.

Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA) said that 100 homes were damaged or destroyed after heavy rain triggered flash flooding in Kuz Kunar district on 31 July. ADMA reported 14 people have died as a result, with 6 people injured.
Flooding was also reported in Parwan Province where homes and roads were damaged or destroyed in areas of the provincial capital, Charikar.
