Thailand‘s Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) reports that monsoon rain has caused flooding and landslides in northern, central and eastern areas of the country over the last 10 days.
Dozens of homes have been damaged, along with roads, bridges and dams. However, no injuries or fatalities were reported.
The worst hit areas are Lampang Province, where 108 households have been affected, and Pathum Thani province, with 100 households affected. Other affected provinces include Phetchabun, Nakhon Ratchasima and Chon Buri.
Meanwhile storms and strong winds have also caused damages, with one fatality reported in Nakhon Ratchasima province.
