At least 15 people are feared dead after a landslide in a remote area of Central Province, Papua New Guinea on 28 December 2020.

Robert Agarobe, Governor for Central Province, visited the area on 31 December. He said the landslide buried the homes set up in an alluvial gold mining camp in Goilala District. As of 31 December, 8 bodies had been recovered. The search for those still missing is continuing, although the recovery effort has been hampered by heavy rains, which are thought to have triggered the landslide.
