After weeks of searching, rescue teams have found the body of a woman who went missing in the floods in September in the southeastern Turkish province of Hatay. The body was found in the neighborhood of Kaplicalar, located in the province’s Erzin district. According to some sources, this brings the death toll from the disaster to 5.

Heavy rainfall overnight caused sever floods in Erzin district of Hatay province in southern Turkey between 24 and 25 September 2014.
River levels were so high that some bridges in the area were completely submerged. Several buildings have also been damaged.
2 people died in the floods and a further 4 are missing, according to a statement from the Office of Hatay Governor. Search and rescue operations have been set up to find the 4 people still missing.
