Pakistan – 1 Dead After Heavy Rain and Landslides in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Heavy rain in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan has caused landslides and damage to buildings over the last 3 days.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) reported on 11 May that 1 person died and 2 were injured when the roof of a house collapsed after heavy rain in Mardan district.

On the same day, a landslide in Abbottabad destroyed 7 homes and damage 4 others. Two people were injured when rain caused a house to collapse in Swat district.

On 13 May, PDMA reported a house collapsed after heavy rain in Buner District. No injuries were reported.
