Over 30 buildings have been destroyed or severely damaged by a landslide in Aybasti district in the Black Sea province of Ordu in northern Turkey.
The area had been affected by an earlier landslide on 15 Februay this year, when around 20 buildings were evacuated. It is thought that recent heavy rainfall in the area triggered a second landslide on 15 May. Over 80 buildings have been evacuated.
The provincial government said it is providing affected families with housing and relief supplies. Governor Seddar Yavuz declared a state of disaster on 18 May. Authorities are working to check all buildings in the area for possible damage.
