Heavy rainfall in south west Switzerland has led to landslides and the derailment of a train in Tiefencastel.
The train ran into the landslide. Three carriages were derailed, with one falling down a steep slope only to be stopped by trees. At least 11 people were injured, 5 of them seriously.
Tiefencastel is a municipality in the district of Albula in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland.
In late July heavy rain caused the Emme river to break its banks, dramatically flooding several nearby villages in Bern canton.
