Cambodia – Deadly Floods in Preah Sihanouk Province

One person died and almost 2,000 people were affected after flooding in Preah Sihanouk province (also Sihanoukville) in south west Cambodia.

Flooding struck Prey Nob district early on 18 September 2020, according to the country’s National Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM).

In total, 1,958 people from 472 families were affected. One person, believed to be a young child, died in flood waters in Andong Thmor commune.
