Further heavy rain on 29 November, 2018, affected parts of southern Turkey, in particular the Aegean resort town of Bodrum in Muğla province, where flash floods swept through streets, dragging vehicles along with them.
Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM) reported that Köyceğiz in Muğla province recorded 124.3 mm of rain in 24 hours to 29 November. Menteşe recorded 97.4 mm during the same period.
This is the second flash flood event in Muğla province in the last 2 weeks. Similar flooding affected the area after 150 mm of rain fell in 24 hours to 18 November, 2018.

Severe weather, including heavy rain, has affected parts of Greece and Turkey over the last few days. At least one person has died in flooding in northern Turkey. Heavy rain has also affected the refugee camp in Moria, Greece.

Turkey
Heavy rain from 27 November caused major flooding in Edirne Province in Turkey.
Local observers said it was the heaviest rainfall in over 60 years. Süloğlu district in Edirne Province recorded 195.6mm of rain in 24 hours to 28 November, 2018.
The city of Edirne was among the worst hit areas, where streets were closed and homes damaged. According to media reports, an elderly man that went missing in the floods was found dead in floodwaters around his house.
Greece
Severe weather has also affected parts of Greece over the last few days, including strong winds, heavy rain and snow in some northern areas.
Some of the worst of the rain and flooding was seen on the island of Lesvos on 28 November, in particular in the Gera area, where homes and roads were damaged. According to Médecins Sans Frontières, the refugee camp in Moria was also affected.
Flooding was also reported in the Ilia region of Western Greece, and Aetolia-Acarnania and Evrytania in Central Greece.
